My sister is in vet school. She learns a great deal about anatomy and other very detailed information. However, she is getting very little training on the various breeds of dogs and cats. For Christmas I would like to get her some serious breed guide books she can study in her “spare” time. I don’t want a coffee table book or For Dummies version. But I suspect having pictures would be a good thing. Are there any vets out there with good ideas?

Me and mine have a brand new addition to the family; a cream-point, long-haired, beautifully blue-eyed male cat. Since he was a stray, we’ve been trying to identify what breed he may partially be. He’s not a Birman (no white paws), but could be part Traditional Balinese. Does anyone know any other long-haired cat breeds that have blue eyes and cream points?
