the breed doesn’t matter. it’s the personality of the cat that matters. try to get one that’s outgoing and loves to play - that way the cat will be more willing to play with the dogs instead of running and hiding away.

Cats usually get along fine with dogs, regardless of breed. It is usually the dog that has a problem with the cat.

A new kitten will be fine no matter what breed. The problem is the dog…

Most cats are good with dogs. It depends on how old they are and if they have been around dogs before. If the cat is older and they have never been around a dog the cat might be upset and never want to come out. If your dogs havent been around cats you need to make sure that they wont try and hurt the cat and that they can be nice to the cat. I have had dogs and cats together before and they did fine because I got my cat as a kitten and so the dogs didnt bother her and she was able to grow up around them. So it really just matters on what kind of cat you want most cats will do fine with dogs as long as they can get used to each other slowely and on there own.
