go to catchannel.com or go to a local bookstore and look at the nature/pet section.

this link gives cat breeds that are recognized by the cat fanciers association. if you cant find your cat in here, then it could be a mixed breed

If you didn’t get yoour cats from a pedigree cat breeder then the chances are that they are just mutts. The Dorling Kindersley books are the best cat breed books.
