oh and most chatty too - I adore talkative cats. You know the kind that won’t shut-up.
My favorite cat was a runt of the litter, she was small and very loving, kitten soft all her life, and we actually had conversations. She was with me for 23 years, until I had to put her down, because of her age. I loved her and didn’t want her to suffer in her old age.

I don’t want one of those sphynx hairless cats and I’d prefer to get a kitten that does not cost too much. I live in Ottawa, Canada.

My husband and I have been thinking about getting our first cat. What we wanted to know is, are there any breeds of cats that stay small even after they are older? Like a poodle for dogs. We would love to have a cat that would be the size of a kitten it’s entire life, and are wondering if such a cat exists. Thank you in advance.

We are adopting a 5 month old black and white long hair kitten from the shelter. He has really long tufts of hair coming out of his ears, like 4 inches long. I have never seen anything like it. I realize he is a mix breed, but what could he be mixed with to have these ears? He doesn’t seem big for his age, and he seems very indifferent and calm. You can see his photo here.

I have a 4 month old kitten who appears to be a mix of short-hair and long-hair domestic; I’m told that the long-hair breeds such as Maine coon and Norwegian forest cats mature quite slowly; any details would be welcome.

OK… so I adopted 2 kittens from the ASPCA in NYC so they have there shots and they are spayed. One kitten is a torttie (female) and the other a blonde (male) tabby. The torttie runs around the apartment like she is on speed and the other kitten just lays around like there is no care in the world… i ask does this have to do with the breed of the cat or are female cats more active then males? Cuz i cant sleep at night anymore cuz she runs around knocking things over a like 3 in the morning. I love them and i dont wanna give them away. I just wanna know if this something she will evenulty grow out of?

Susan asked: My cat is a solid 26lbs and he is not fat at all. I got him as a kitten off of craigslist, and the owner sped off, happy to get rid of him, and I have not been able to contact the owner.
I would like to know what breeds of cat tend to be larger, and also aggressive/mean.
He is definitely mixed, but the largeness comes from somewhere.
